If we created a custom playlist for new feature releases, Ariana Grande’s hit single, ‘Thank U, Next,’ would be the number one track of this summer's product release series at GoSpotCheck.
Why, you ask?
Because, just like the amazingly catchy pop hit, this GoSpotCheck release introduces a major feature request that's equally catchy and frequently requested by our customers -- the ability to identify any unanswered required tasks remaining in a mission.
How it Works
When completing a mission in the mobile app, you will now see the option to ‘Skip to Next Unanswered Required Task,’ flagged with a new orange arrow icon in the Required Tasks bar at the top of a Mission in progress. After tapping the icon, users will quickly be taken to the next unanswered required task. For missions of any length, this feature will help users quickly identify the most important tasks they still need to complete, and save them time scrolling and searching in the field to get to the most important work. DJ, cue Thank U, Next and let's get on with the mission!
Our Summer 2020 Release Playlist
While this catchy little number might be the lead single right now at GoSpotCheck, here’s a rundown of the rest of the tracks on our Summer 2020 5.2 Release Product Playlist:
- Thank U, Next (Ariana Grande)
Tap the new orange arrows on in-progress Mission Responses to be taken automatically to the next required task.
- Photograph (Nickelback):
“Look at this photograph…” Photo Tasks are getting not one, but three enhancements!
> One Tap Upload to Gallery: Tap the new buttons on Photo Tasks to be taken directly to the camera or your photo gallery.
> Upload Image Recognition Photos via Gallery: Access photos within your phone’s gallery and upload to Image Recognition Photo Tasks.
> Upload Multiple Photos at Once: When selecting photos from Photo Gallery, you can now choose to upload multiple photos at once (instead of one at a time….making it much faster!)
- Somewhere Only We Know (Keane)
Adding new places to the GoSpotCheck app via mobile is getting even easier with this release. Now, iOS users can click a new button on the bottom of the Choose a Place screen to add New Places to the app without having to scroll to the bottom of the page
- Don’t Stop Me Now (Queen)
GoSpotCheck prevents you from starting the same mission at the same place from two separate devices. With this release, you can now cancel in-progress responses via the Copy & Start command, ensuring that the app won’t stop you now.
- Into the Unknown (Idina Menzel)
Feeling adventurous? Toggle on the new Beta Features setting and access GoSpotCheck’s newest mobile features and enhancements before anyone else.
- Semi-charmed Life (Third Eye Blind)
Ok this one is kind of a stretch, but if the internet connectivity where you're located is only semi-charmed, you can now switch your device into Offline Mode without having to shift your phone into Airplane Mode. Offline Mode can be found on the Mobile Settings tab.
