Bootstrapped Brews

GoSpotCheck was proud to host Bootstrapped Brews – a competition between startups – that took place over the weekend at the McNichols Civic Center Building. Each participating startup brewed one or more beers to be judged at the event by both attending ticket holders and judges. The event sold out before Friday evening, and hundreds of people filled the venue to listen to live music and enjoy home-brewed beer.

GoSpotCheck employees had a great time – volunteering, pouring beer and attending the event. We brewed four beers and placed second in the People’s Choice category, behind Ping Identity. People’s Choice Awards were given to the beers with the most votes from event attendees.

Most importantly, Bootstrapped Brews raised thousands of dollars for Promise Ranch, a non-profit that works to provide equine assisted activities and therapies for physically, intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals. The 2015 Bootstrapped Brews event was wildly successful and we can’t wait to see everyone next year!
