We just looked up and noticed that the holiday season is upon us!
We will take this brief moment to celebrate before returning back to the lab, as we are always busy around these parts!
At GoSpotCheck, we have a lot to be thankful for during this Thanksgiving. While we’re still approximately one year away from having our own Macy’s Day Parade float, there are still a few things to stuff our turkey with around the new office!
For instance, the NEW office itself! The space at Galvanize rocks, as previously blogged about. But more specifically we have this stuff called Idea Paint. We are pretty thankful for that… We can use our walls as a whiteboard! (Please re-read that sentence if it did not resonate, or just see the pic above) We could probably have our fill of thankfulness with just that alone.
As a company we are definitely thankful for whiteboards in general, and for Matt’s artistic prowess (especially when he taps into his “creativity”). The boards and the art are equally inspirational.
We are thankful for our team dinners (a weekly Thanksgiving if you will) and all of the local Asian cuisine that supports us.
We are also very thankful for dogs, for coffee, and good snacks.
We are thankful for the best and brightest who work with us everyday. We are thankful for field teams, merchandisers, field data, mobile technology, mobile reporting and for retail execution to name a few more things (in no particular order).
Personally, I am thankful for office phone booths, the amount of food I get to eat all day long, a basketball hoop in the office that I can dunk on, and for my relationship with my co-workers (which has gotten slightly better…I think). I am also thankful for headphones. What? I love headphones. As for the rest of the team…
Joey is thankful for… these GoSpotCheck water bottles Samantha got the team. They are pretty sweet. Joey loves his water. I think Joey is especially thankful (this is my interpretation) for acronyms this year. Things like, BYOD, CPG, API and QSR. He loves a good acronym…
Bart is thankful that Americans seem to turn holidays into full week events! (He is also thankful for not being deported back to Canada…yet…)
Andrew is thankful for the individual and team photos he was in (soon to be released), and his self-proclaimed “sexiness”…
Brennan is thankful that our development team speaks not only code, but also fluent English (for easier communication)…
But most of all we are thankful for our team, our clients and the good fortune of loving what we do everyday!
Wishing you the best, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
